It’s amazing how quickly people can change a Social Media platform from one audience to another. Pinterest, a social network that allows users to ‘pin’ content of interest to virtual messageboards, was thought to be for the female, fashion-conscious demographic. Pinterest was launched in early 2010 by Ben Silbermann and is one of the fastest growing social services in the world; by 2012 it had already gained more than 10 million users. You can pin content directly or from Twitter and Facebook.
